About Tina Siart Boylan
Hello! I have enjoyed painting as long as I can remember... probably since I could hold a paintbrush in my hand. I grew up surrounded by inspiration, from the forests and fields that surrounded my childhood home in Central Massachusetts, to the many museum trips to Boston as a young girl. Balance, light, shadow and sound all play into what I try to capture on my canvases.
Elementary through High School I received many recognitions and awards for my art work but in college I chose Sociology as my major. I painted and showed in galleries in the midwest during the years that I went to boarding school and college. I moved back to New England because I missed the seacoast, a place that serves as a great inspiration to me.
For years I found myself 'painting in my head' a lot. About five years ago on evenings and weekends I began to pick up a paintbrush again. Soon after I began to do local art shows in my community in south western New Hampshire and feel very blessed that through social media, have been able to sell my works all over the United States.
Now, there is hardly a day that goes by when I do not have my Paintbrush In Hand.
